Anton Bridge


Anton is a Consultant at Metro Dynamics whose work centres on urban economic strategy, housing policy and the devolution process. His project work has included supporting economic strategies for Bradford, New Anglia LEP and Central London Forward, conducting a review of employment forecasts for Warrington City and analysing the economic impacts of Brexit for Cheshire and Warrington LEP. He is currently supporting the West Midlands Combined Authority in negotiating a Housing Deal with government and previously worked on their Housing and Infrastructure Fund (HIF) bids.

Anton’s academic background is in urban history – he has a BA in Japanese and History from SOAS, University of London, and an MSt. in Global and Imperial History from the University of Oxford, where his dissertation analysed competing conceptions of urban life among the Japanese community living in Shanghai at the turn of the 20th century. He has lived in London, Berlin, Tokyo and Mumbai.
