We’ve been in business since early 2015, pursuing our mission of supporting places to be more prosperous, inclusive and sustainable. During that time we have had the opportunity to work with fantastic leaders in the public and private sector in pretty much every part of the country. We have experienced an unprecedented set of global health, economic, and political events, but the importance of place, as being the space for action on everything from levelling up, to recovery from the Covid-19 pandemic and sustainability, has never been clearer. 

To secure our independent legacy, to embed our values, and to build our business for the future in March 2022 Metro Dynamics became an employee owned business, setting up an Employee Ownership Trust. We also appointed Pat Ritchie, CBE, as the Non-Executive Chair of our Business Board.

Becoming an employee owned business underlines our commitment to being an independent company with a strong social purpose, that will protect the interests of its employees, and work to increase our positive impact on places. Having Pat Ritchie as our Non-Executive Chair will help us to hold true to our values and continue to develop our business.
